Musk hints at a “Plaid” Tesla Cybertruck as his truck when released

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has recently revealed that Cybertruck may have a checkered version, or “plaid” to be more specific. Earlier, Musk responded to a tweet saying that he would choose to drive a “Plaid Cybertruck”.

It is reported that the first batch of high-end cybertruck models are scheduled for delivery in 2023, the three-motor model is expected to be delivered first.  As for the dual motor and single motor versions, you have to wait until the second half of 2022.

Although Tesla did not immediately comment on Musk’s latest remarks, it doesn’t stop the Redditors to speculative on this seven-word tweet.

Some netizens speculate that Plaid may have a more aggressive checkered coating, have more powerful off-road or acceleration performance, and may even fight against the Ford F-150 lightning.
