Korean auto maker Kia won two awards at the 2020 World Car Awards. The Kia Telluride won the 2020 World Car of the Year award, which was the biggest prize at the awards. Kia Soul EV also took home another award, which was the 2020 Urban Car of the Year Award.
Kia Soul EV beat out the Mini Electric and the Volkswagen T-Cross to take home the award.
2020 World Car Awards
The 2020 World Car Awards was originally planned to be announced at the 2020 New York Auto Show back in March, but is currently being postponed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to the two awards that the Kia won, other awards included the World Car Design of the Year Award, won by the Mazda3, and two other awards won by the Porsche Taycan, which were the World Luxury Car award and World Performance Car award.
